Unbelievable
It is unbelievable to me that almost 18 months has passed since I last blogged! So much has changed in that time. 2010 was a year full of changes and adjustments. My work schedule got busier with each passing day and I got more and more resentful working full-time. I didn't really work my Premier business like I had hoped to and well, just basically got in a lull if you will. Trey and I refocused on one another and built a stronger relationship through some hard times financially and emotionally. It was a year of growth in our marriage and in our walk with Christ. The boys are growing up so fast! Jackson played soccer last fall and loved it. Coleman was so excited he wanted to play too but just wasn't old enough yet. The year ended on a high note with Trey's career taking off and really growing. THANK YOU JESUS!!!!! And I mean that! Trey is accomplishing his goals with God at the wheel! We are so thankful! Trey earned two trips for the 2011 year, one to Cancun this past February and one to Denver in August!
So far in 2011 we are on a new ride! One week before we took our trip to Cancun I found out my position was being eliminated from the Treasury Department. It was devastating but after a week of thinking and prayer it was obvious that God was in control and is still in control. Trey and I had been praying for me to be a stay at home mom by the fall of 2011. We had certain goals we wanted to reach before I quit work and stayed home. God had a different plan. He wanted us to trust him and lean on him and not our plans. And so far that is exactly what we are doing. I am still nervous but I know I trust and am loved by a faithful God! My Premier business is taking off and becoming my full-time business. I love it and I can't wait to see what God has planned!
Coleman just had his 3rd birthday and he is so funny and sweet and just makes me laugh all the time. I never have the video camera when I need it with him. He loves his papaws and he LOVES tractors!!!!! Papaw Brown could not be more excited!
Jackson is growing up so quickly! He will be five in September and he is just so excited. I got the paper work today to fill out for flag football this fall. He is excited and he is also asking to take Karate lessons. Not sure if we will do that just yet but we will put it on the list for the future. Jackson, is such a leader and so logical. We made the decision last fall to send him to Columbia Academy(CA) Spring Hill campus and put him in their Jr. Kindergarten program and he has really grown so much! Couldn't be happier. We also made the decision to hold him back and let him start Kindergarten in the fall of 2012. I think in the long run he will be more prepared and ready socially and emotionally with another year under his belt. He is so loving and sweet! I just can't wait to see what the future holds for him.
Well, gotta get back to work....laundry and all other things on the to do list today. Hopefully this is the beginning of more frequent updates.
