There's a mouse in the house

Yep that is right a mouse in our house. I have multiple traps set and I will be calling out the exterminator tomorrow. I guess I should be used to mice after growing up in the country where they are common and they run indoors out of the fields, but I am not. I hate them. So it has me all tore up. I mean I can't clean enough and I am just in a funky mood because of the mouse. So I am hoping to get rid of the rodent tonight. I talked to a friend tonight and brought this embarrassing story up and she made me laugh so hard. I told Susanna that I had a trap set and a bait thing and a glue trap in one location that seems to be a hot spot for the sneaky little thing. She replies with "Well I always find it satisfying when they get stuck on the glue trap and get lose." Now I know some of you will find that cruel punishment....but not me....I agree. After all the anguish that thing has put me through he should have to suffer. Sorry if you are offended....I am far from an animal rights activist. I feel better now after getting that off my chest and venting about the sneaky little thing that will cause me worry till his demise.

On to blessings. It has been a few days since I last posted but I am still counting my blessings.
  1. A husband that comes home and cleans and cooks dinner for me just to help me out.
  2. For Trey's business to be picking up and becoming more stable.
  3. Ruby, my 1993 Honda Accord, she is paid for and is still running strong.
  4. For my friend Susanna who can always make me smile and helps me navigate through motherhood.
  5. I am blessed to have the ability to wake up every morning and get up healthy.

Well I am off to spend some time in the word and spend some time with Trey.

What a morning!!!!

Original Post 8/30/2008 It is just now 8:11 AM and my morning has already been chaotic! I woke up to Coleman crying ready to eat at 5:30....This is 30 minutes after I should have been up getting ready. I was just too tired I guess because I never heard the alarm clock. So out of bed I jump and run downstairs and get a bottle for Coleman and realize that Jackson is now crying too. Where is Trey in all this?!?!?! Still asleep! How is it that a mom hears every cry and a dad has selective hearing? At this point I run back upstairs and get Trey awake and tell him he has to feed Coleman and then I go to check on Jackson and he is hungry so back downstairs we go with sheep, his stuffed animal that is his best friend to cozy up to at night. We get downstairs and he wants a banana and some milk. I get all this together and then we start back upstairs and I see a bunny outside the house through one of the sidelights next to the door and I stop everything because I know Jackson would love to se...

5:22

Sorry for the delay in posting this as a sequel to my last post on May 22 nd . I got home on that particular Friday night and I laid down with Jackson to try and get him to sleep and the verse Galatians 5:22 popped in my head. I thought that was weird since I had woke up at 5:22 that morning...and as I put it together today...it was the 5 th month and the 22 nd day! Coincidence? I think not. So being that I am the mom of two little ones. I ended up collapsing and waking up at 5:22 Saturday morning. My first reaction was OH NO how did I sleep in here all night? This is not good. Jackson will expect this! Where is Trey? Why didn't he wake me up? Then I realize it is 5:22 AM and God is saying Galatians 5:22 in my Student bible that moved with me to Nashville.
