All is calm in the Wooten house tonight
Not a mouse in sight. Squeaky met the end of the road today. The mouse found the sticky trap and is now out in the field behind our house. YUCK!!!!! I am so glad Trey was home and not me. It is quite funny that when I opened the pantry door this morning it was great caution because I was scared Squeaky would be there ready to pounce. However, he wasn't and I was miffed because he had gotten by my traps yet again.
This afternoon Trey comes in with the boys from the doctor's office and gets a snack for Coleman out of the pantry and closes the door. Jackson comes along behind him looking for "somthin" as he says and opens the door yells DAD and starts running to safety. So you see my husband was oblivious to the squeaking from the trapped rodent. It took a two year old to get Trey's attention! LOL! Yet again it is that selective hearing at work.
We took the boys to the ENT today because they both have had ear infections lately and we wanted to make sure that their ears were clearing up. After seeing Dr. Corbin, Coleman will be getting tubes in his years on Jan. 28th and Dr. Corbin is optimistic that the infection in Jackson's ear will finish clearing up without any further complications. So keep little Coleman in your prayers. Dr. Corbin told us that Coleman has very muffled hearing due to all the fluid in his ear. This just breaks my heart. So we are anxious to get his ear issues cleared up and let him experience full hearing. No wonder he sleeps through all of Jackson's tantrums...he doesn't hear them.
Blessings for the day.
