Pictures to Share


Thought I would share a few pictures of our family taken a couple of weeks ago. Everything is moving right along at a chaotic speed and balancing everything is quite a challenge these days. Coleman is teething and just about ready to sit on his own. We thought we had lost him last Saturday....nope he had just rolled around on the floor to under our bed! We have a poster bed that sets up high and he was rolling around and thought that was fun to be under the bed. He was just laughing and playing with a big smile on his face. Jackson is sleeping in a toddler bed now and so far it is going fairly well. We have had a few restless nights but overall he is adjusting well. He is cracking us up now that he is talking in sentences. He told us the other night, while pushing his plate away from him, that "He didn't like it a bit!" He is becoming very opinionated. He wants to pick out his clothes and if you ask him to do something the first answer is always NO. Within 2 mins it has changed to okay. Funny times right now with him.


Trey and I are doing well. We have started making the effort to do a devotional together everyday and it is amazing what a difference it is making in our marriage. We are communicating more and just closer. It is so true that if you keep God first everything will fall into place. I am not saying it will always be easy but there will always be the peace and comfort of God to lean on. I recommend this to everyone. Well, I have a ton of work to get to so I will sign off for now. Hope everyone is doing well.
Also, 6:45 this Saturday is the Alabama vs. Tennessee game!!!!!! GO BAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a morning!!!!

Original Post 8/30/2008 It is just now 8:11 AM and my morning has already been chaotic! I woke up to Coleman crying ready to eat at 5:30....This is 30 minutes after I should have been up getting ready. I was just too tired I guess because I never heard the alarm clock. So out of bed I jump and run downstairs and get a bottle for Coleman and realize that Jackson is now crying too. Where is Trey in all this?!?!?! Still asleep! How is it that a mom hears every cry and a dad has selective hearing? At this point I run back upstairs and get Trey awake and tell him he has to feed Coleman and then I go to check on Jackson and he is hungry so back downstairs we go with sheep, his stuffed animal that is his best friend to cozy up to at night. We get downstairs and he wants a banana and some milk. I get all this together and then we start back upstairs and I see a bunny outside the house through one of the sidelights next to the door and I stop everything because I know Jackson would love to se...

5:22

Sorry for the delay in posting this as a sequel to my last post on May 22 nd . I got home on that particular Friday night and I laid down with Jackson to try and get him to sleep and the verse Galatians 5:22 popped in my head. I thought that was weird since I had woke up at 5:22 that morning...and as I put it together today...it was the 5 th month and the 22 nd day! Coincidence? I think not. So being that I am the mom of two little ones. I ended up collapsing and waking up at 5:22 Saturday morning. My first reaction was OH NO how did I sleep in here all night? This is not good. Jackson will expect this! Where is Trey? Why didn't he wake me up? Then I realize it is 5:22 AM and God is saying Galatians 5:22 in my Student bible that moved with me to Nashville. So at this point I go to the bonus room open up the bible to Galatians and read a section on the fruits of the spirit and then I go to the verses and find "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindne...

Okay so I got the mobile app thinking that I might find time to post more stories and thoughts and some how I made two old post into drafts!  Since this blog is basically a family journal for me and I want to keep each post I am reposting them.  So when you see stories about babies don't think we have had a time warp!  It is just me reposting old post so I don't lose them!
