Finally some pics to share from this weekend

Okay finally I just had to sit down and download pics. I find myself saying that I can't do stuff like download pics or get on the web unless I am completely caught up with everything around the house. Well, that is rarely the case and I have to get over it. I think I need to enjoy myself more and quit worrying so much about little details that really won't matter 5 days from now or 5 years from now. I really just need to enjoy life. Okay, where was I before I started down my self-help session. Oh yeah, sharing pics from Jackson's 2nd birthday.

This first one is of us unwrapping gifts. I think he totally has the concepts of presents down now! Anyone up for some Playdough?















Here is Jackson on his brand new John Deere tractor. I bet PawPaw Brown wishes all John Deere tractors were this cheap! LOL!

This is pictures from tonight when Jackson was helping me out in the kitchen making cupcakes for his school party tomorrow. He loved the cake batter, can't you tell!































This is a picture of Coleman chilling out on Jackson's great big tiger his Grammie and PawPaw Wooten picked up for him. Everytime I look at this picture I think of the Buck Owens song "I got a Tiger by the tail"















And this last pic is the Nemo cake I baked and decorated for Jackson. I was very nervous about it and was very excited that it turned out so well.














I hope I haven't bored you too bad. I just wanted to share some of the fun and joy from the past few days. I abosultely love being a mom and wife and living each one of these moments with my men!

Thanks for the prayers for the Hurricanes. Yes, it seemed we were spared though I can't say the same for poor ol' Texas in the next couple of days. It makes you feel sorry for them, doesn't it? I have two girls as well and they are pretty loving at ages 13 and 11 but nothing like that 7 year old boy! Anyone that can wake up and tell you "you so pretty momma" as sleep is still in your eyes and your hair is in a million different directions, well it has to be true love...lol. Have a good one!! Get loud for Jesus!!!

What a morning!!!!

Original Post 8/30/2008 It is just now 8:11 AM and my morning has already been chaotic! I woke up to Coleman crying ready to eat at 5:30....This is 30 minutes after I should have been up getting ready. I was just too tired I guess because I never heard the alarm clock. So out of bed I jump and run downstairs and get a bottle for Coleman and realize that Jackson is now crying too. Where is Trey in all this?!?!?! Still asleep! How is it that a mom hears every cry and a dad has selective hearing? At this point I run back upstairs and get Trey awake and tell him he has to feed Coleman and then I go to check on Jackson and he is hungry so back downstairs we go with sheep, his stuffed animal that is his best friend to cozy up to at night. We get downstairs and he wants a banana and some milk. I get all this together and then we start back upstairs and I see a bunny outside the house through one of the sidelights next to the door and I stop everything because I know Jackson would love to se...

5:22

Sorry for the delay in posting this as a sequel to my last post on May 22 nd . I got home on that particular Friday night and I laid down with Jackson to try and get him to sleep and the verse Galatians 5:22 popped in my head. I thought that was weird since I had woke up at 5:22 that morning...and as I put it together today...it was the 5 th month and the 22 nd day! Coincidence? I think not. So being that I am the mom of two little ones. I ended up collapsing and waking up at 5:22 Saturday morning. My first reaction was OH NO how did I sleep in here all night? This is not good. Jackson will expect this! Where is Trey? Why didn't he wake me up? Then I realize it is 5:22 AM and God is saying Galatians 5:22 in my Student bible that moved with me to Nashville. So at this point I go to the bonus room open up the bible to Galatians and read a section on the fruits of the spirit and then I go to the verses and find "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindne...
